The more I travel, the more I appreciate and recognize how important my must haves are, that's for sure.
#1 Away Bigger Carry On
I have had my eye on this suitcase for a hot minute. It was a splurge, so I refused to purchase it for myself. I was over the moon excited though when I unwrapped my White Bigger Carry On for Christmas a couple of years ago! I love everything about it and here are the details.
- The TSA approved lock is the bomb. I love being able to rest assured my life (literally packed in my suitcase) is all safe.
- Removable Battery - Did someone say life saver? How many times have we been delayed or running late and our phone or ipad is in the red zone. Ugh! The battery in my away suitcase is extremely accessible and, of course, removable. I pop it out before boarding to keep it within reach while flying too! It lasts forever and charges QUICK!
- Lifetime Warranty - This is huge for me. I travel many times a month and always with my away suitcase, so making sure it was durable was a huge must.
- Interior - I love that one half of the suitcase has a mesh zip closure and the other side is open. There is also an awesome slim mesh pocket that holds all the goodies.
I truly could go on and on about my Away suitcase. It is probably my favorite travel must have. Oh, it is worth EVERY penny! Treat Yourself!
#2 Meanwhile Back on the Farm Backpack
We have this amazing local shop that creates the best bags, especially for travel! They focus mainly on waxed canvas and leather. Everything is hand sewn and made from all organic materials. They have a mission to create products that encourage a wholesome lifestyle. They have absolutely done that for me. I personally have the Camo Waxed Canvas Backpack and LOVE it!
- The size is perfect - It fits everything I need to have easily accessible when I travel and nothing I don't. It has a large main pocket, a small open pocket (perfect for my travel documents), and a clip (perfect for my keys or flashlight). - The leather straps make it very comfortable to walk around with in the airport all day or adventuring once I've made it to my destination.
- It has a durable leather bottom and water repels right off of the waxed canvas, so I don't have to worry if the weather is funky when I am out and about.
#3 My Arbonne
I don't go anywhere without my arbonne. That's the honest truth. Whether it be my arbonne skincare routine, makeup favorites, or FIZZ, I always have it. When I am traveling, there are some things that vary in my arbonne bag, but there are others that ALWAYS make their way into my bag for the adventure.
- I always have my quart sized baggy full of my skincare routine. I am currently obsessed with the Agewell Cleanser, Agewell Toner, BioHydria Gel Cream, and Prepwork Overnight Jelly. I love how no matter how tired, dry, or funky my skin feels from traveling, it is always moisturized and being loved on!
- Typically, I travel with minimal makeup. The only time I add to my everyday makeup favorites to travel is when I am going for a specific special occasion. You can always find the following in my makeup bag: Primer, Foundation (shade: Buff), Concealer (shade: light), It's All in the Eyes Volume II Palette, Mascara, Liquid Eyeliner, and Lip Salve. Oh! I can't forget that I do still use makeup brushes and I drop those in my makeup bag too.
- I know, I know, you may laugh but when people ask my husband something I can't live without, he will say "FIZZ". If you've never heard of it, check it out! Once you try it, you'll fall in love for sure. I have no doubt. Besides my fizz, I always be sure to bring my favorite supplements on any adventure: DetoxTea, Skin Elixir (vegan collagen), Mind Health, Mint Chocolate Protein (meals can be iffy in the airport ha!), and Complete Hydration (I don't know why, but I tend to drink less water while I'm traveling and this helps gobs.)
#4 Target Jeans
Okay, I know this is silly, but I FINALLY found a pair of jeans that literally fits me in all the right ways. I have a smaller waist but God blessed me with a booty. It is so hard to find jeans that fit both my waist and my booty and these Target jeans do!!! No gaping in the back! Heck yes! They are the curvy skinny jean and they are the best thing ever. Typically, I travel in my jeans so that I don't have to pack them in my suitcase but have them. You never know when jeans may be in order on any adventure. I am a sucker for a solid versatile jean that can be styled in all the ways and these fit the bill.
#5 Yeti Tumbler
I am a massive water drinker. I drink about a gallon of water a day and on the days I don't drink enough, I can so tell. If you don't drink water you should. ;) But, you. could also fill this bad boy up with any liquid once you get through security. If you're anything like my hubby, he fills it up with sweet tea... and it tickles me every time. I have the 36 oz tumbler in Teal (my favorite color). I love packing it in my Meanwhile Backpack empty to get through security and then I can take it to any bottle filling station (water fountain) in the airport to fill it up for my adventures. Besides, airport water is SO overpriced. Holy moly.
